Full time nanny required for a 2.5 year old and her sister due in November 2022. The family is based in Antwerp. The days will be Monday - Friday approximately 36 - 40 hours per week. They need a nanny to start in January or February 2023.
They would prefer a live out nanny but are happy to consider live in candidates.
Ideal candidates are respectful, have a good sense of humour and have a good dynamic with the family. They would like the nanny to become part of the family.
The 2.5 year old attends creche three days a week and usually spends one day a week with the grandparents. They are happy for you to take the children to classes, have playdates and organise activities at home.
The Mum is on maternity leave from November - February. Then both parents will be working full time. The Dad travels very regularly for work, neither parent works from home. A nanny happy to be flexible with the family's needs is important. The role will be sole charge when both parents are working but it's vital you are comfortable working alongside the parents.
The family will be moving from their apartment to a bigger house in 2023.
The family would like a nanny to commit long term, at least the minimum of a year.
You will be responsible for all nursery and childcare related duties.
A highly experienced and confident nanny is required. Someone with previous experience caring for toddlers and newborns is required.
The preference is for a Dutch speaking candidate however they are happy to speak with English speaking nannies.
It's vital you are happy to travel with the family and they have a preference for a confident driver.
Agency requirements: Applicants must have an EU passport or already have a permit or visa for Belgium. Applicants need a minimum of three years of full-time professional childcare experience, valid pediatric first aid, and a recent police check to register.
