Two or three day warm and playful nanny needed

Family with a six month old baby girl seek a nanny for Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays. They can also consider two days and potentially three other days. They are happy to offer eight hours from 8.30 - 6.30pm or can offer nine hours a day or if you only wanted four hours a day from 2 - 6pm that's also possible. An asap or January start is possible. The job details are very flexible, the family's priority is find the right nanny. They would like a nanny for approximately 18 months.

She has a 4.5 year old brother who is at school and mainly cared for by the dad but you need to be happy to interact with him and care for him when required. He is 4.5 years old, he is very energetic, loves cars, dinosaurs, imaginary play and messy activities. The baby is fairly relaxed and happy to go with the flow.

This role would be a mix of sole charge and shared care. The Mum is working full time. You will be working alongside the Dad.

Ideal candidates are very warm, very friendly, playful, gentle and creative. Someone whose focus is on having fun. They would love a nanny happy to give tips, advice and become part of the family. Someone responsible who they really rely on and builds a strong relationship with the children.

The parents encourage the children to independent, creative and respectful. The nanny needs a good balance between being firm and loving. The Mum doesn't mind mess as long as it's tidied up at the end of the day.

You will be responsible for standard nursery duties, general tidying and cooking for the whole family. The Dad will be at home so you will have time to do these tasks as he will have the baby some of the time.

The family are happy to consider experienced or junior candidates as long as you have some baby experience. This role will suit a nanny who is a team player, flexible and is perfect if you are keen to get more experience caring for a baby.

You need to speak fluent English but they would love a nanny who also speaks Italian.

For this role you will need to be self employed or work under the Regeling dienstverlening aan huis.

Agency requirements: Applicants must have an EU passport or already have a permit or visa for the Netherlands. Applicants need a minimum of three years of full-time professional childcare experience, valid pediatric first aid, and a recent police check to register.
