Holgate Nannies is happy to conduct your agency interview before you obtain a Paediatric First Aid certificate. However, to apply for jobs, attend trial days, or start a placement, you must hold a valid Paediatric First Aid qualification that meets our requirements.
Accepted First Aid Qualifications
Candidates must hold a valid Paediatric First Aid certificate. Most certificates are valid for approximately 2–3 years, however please check your certificate for the exact validity. For Holgate Nannies, the qualification must have been completed within the last three years.
We accept:
Fully in-person courses
Blended learning courses (part online and part in person)
We do not accept courses completed entirely online.

British Red Cross
St John Ambulance
Tigerlily Training
Candidates based elsewhere
Your local Red Cross or St John Ambulance provider
Returning Candidates
If you are returning to Holgate Nannies after a previous placement, it is your responsibility to ensure your Paediatric First Aid certificate remains valid and meets our current requirements before applying for new roles.
All costs associated with obtaining or renewing your Paediatric First Aid qualification are the candidate's responsibility.
